Node.js
Node.js

Node.js is an open-source JavaScript run-time built on Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine that allows executing JavaScript outside of a browser such as in a server environment. Our Node.js journey began in late 2013 starting from version 0.10 of Node.js where it quickly became our de facto choice for backend systems due to its speed, flexibility and growing open source community.

Using Node.js we've built large-scale applications from public facing APIs to secure data processing environments that handle millions of tasks every week. Node.js forms the foundation for the majority of our enterprise scale backend systems and is integral to our teams' development, both professionally and personally.
